I built this for my wife.

Hi, we are Jeremy and Kelli. Kelli plans the lessons in our house, and like a lot of homeschool moms she was spending her evenings copying lesson numbers, page numbers, and quiz days out of the teacher guides into a paper plan book, week after week. One missed day and the eraser came out.

So I built her this. It reads the schedule that is already in the curriculum Kelli bought, fills her weekly grid for every child, moves everything forward when life happens, and prints a clean page she can put in her binder. Her friends who teach at home and in the classroom asked for it, and now it is here for you too.

We are a Christian family and this tool is our way of serving other families like ours. It is simple on purpose: your curriculum, your children, your dates, one printable page.

Kelli taught school before she taught ours

Before she stayed home, Kelli spent ten years teaching first and second grade. She trained at Southwest Texas State, a school founded to train teachers and now Texas State University, where writing lesson plans was something she was taught to do properly rather than something she picked up along the way.

That matters for what this is. Every week the planner builds has to decide something: what belongs in a box, how much detail is enough, where the tests fall, what a readable page looks like on a Monday morning. Those are a teacher's judgments, and they are hers. The software does not decide how to teach your children. It lays the week out the way a teacher of ten years would, and then it hands you the pencil.

She now homeschools our three, in third, sixth, and ninth grade, out of the same books and the same planner you would use. When something in here annoys her on a Sunday night, it gets fixed.

Your data, plainly

You must own the curriculum you use here. The planner is a convenience for families who have already bought their books, not a way around buying them.
We keep the schedule skeleton only. Lesson numbers, page numbers, and quiz or test days. We do not store or share the publisher's lessons, teaching notes, or any of the actual content.
Your plans are yours. Each account sees only its own children, dates, and plans.
You can leave whenever you want. Settings has a Delete all my data button, and it means it.

A note on the reading

The planner does not write or invent lessons. It copies what your teacher guide already says, the same way you would by hand, just faster. If it ever reads something wrong, every box is editable, you are always in charge of the plan.

Weekly Lesson Planner is an independent family project. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Abeka, Pensacola Christian College, or any curriculum publisher. Product names are used only to say which curricula the planner works with.

One more plain-English note: we run a small amount of advertising to reach other families, and the site uses a standard Meta (Facebook) measurement pixel to count visits and sign-ups that come from those ads. We also keep our own simple, anonymous counters of which steps people use (like "someone printed a week") so we can make the planner better. No cookies for tracking, no session recordings, and nothing ever sees your children, your plans, or your grades.
